Quintana Ruth Jones is a filmmaker and multi-disciplinary artist working primarily with experimental image-making in film, printmaking, and poetry.

Her work explores presence and seriality, often utilizing poetic structure, haptics, and community-based storytelling. Documentation plays a key role.The questions that arise from the documentation of performance and art are intrinsicly linked to her work in film.

Growing up in the United States, Quintana straddled rural and urban life, before moving to Paris for a BFA in Film Art with Emerson College and Paris College of Art. She has lived in Paris for 4 years and enjoys getting lost on walks and giving her friends manicures.
